Summary

CommunityAmerica Credit Union seeks a Product Manager – Data & Analytics for Lenexa, Kansas.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

The Product Manager – Data & Analytics will perform data analytics job duties. This role is responsible for end-to-end delivery of innovative data products and solutions that would enable CommunityAmerica’s vision of “Segment of One” member experience and strategic plans for growth and member well-being. Identify, solution and deliver analytical data initiatives working with cross-functional business and technology teams. Develop strong working relationships with business leaders and other stakeholders to understand strategic business goals, metrics, and improvement goals. Work with leadership to identify, align and prioritize Data & Analytics initiatives to help achieve these goals.

 

Develop product capabilities, needs and roadmaps for key data and analytics products including Member experience personalization, Member 360 Data platform, Marketing /Product Analytics, and AI solutions to drive profitable growth, Member experience, engagement, and well-being. Create conceptual prototypes to communicate and gain approval for proposed solutions. Evaluate buy/build approach and actively work with Analytics and Data Platform teams to scope, devise solutions and implement scalable Data, BI, AI/ML, Big Data and analytical solutions in an iterative and value-focused approach.

 

Partner with business teams and ensure that they are collaboratively engaged in solution development and are adopting implemented solutions to realize intended business goals. Communicate plans and outcomes to CommunityAmerica leadership in a pro-active fashion that show case the business value being realized from Data & Analytics investments. Scale Self Service BI across the organization & partner with business leaders to create a data-driven decision-making culture. Stay abreast with Data Analytics market development & trends and Financial Services industry innovations and apply them into actionable solutions at CommunityAmerica. Perform additional data analytics duties, as assigned.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Data Science, or a closely related field
  • 10 years of progressive (post-bachelor’s degree) experience that must include the following, concurrently:
  • 3 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in developing technology product and project road maps that deliver business value in an iterative fashion.
  • Track record of leading complex, large scale data and analytics projects and products.
  • 5 years of Data & Analytics solution architecture experience using cloud Data & analytics platforms, Data Warehousing and Big Data technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand / utilize the following:
  • Strategic Business goals and needs and translating them into effective analytical solutions.
  • Analyzing data and using it to drive business insights and actions.
  • Showing strategic business thinking with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills for driving results by collaborating with cross functional groups.
  • Cloud Data & Analytics technologies, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence and their application to develop predictive and prescriptive customer solutions.
  • Position also requires the following:
  • Demonstrated ability to present analyses, business performance results and actionable recommendations to business and technical clients, and
  • Experience using programming languages (SQL, Python) and visual analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
