This position is located at one of our Electro Savings Branch Locations, soon to be CommunityAmerica Credit Union. The role of the Member Specialist (Teller) is to provide quality member service and handle all member transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsible for assisting members in a variety of services including but not limited to maintaining and closing accounts. Member Specialist contributes directly to the achievement of sales by referring credit union products and services as well as recognizing opportunities to make referrals to appropriate branch staff.
Experience | Six months of similar or related experience. |
Education | A high school education or GED. |
Interpersonal Skills | Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication. |
Other Skills | Basic Microsoft Office Suite experience. Be receptive to learning new task, recognize the steps necessary to get the job done, and show initiative in looking for ways to improve processes/duties and assist others. |
