Summary

The Processor position is responsible for the compilation of all documentation necessary to garner approval on conventional, government and portfolio first mortgage loans.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivery of exceptional service levels during the processing of the mortgage loans, to both the member and the credit union. Survey results to be at company’s standards at 95.00%.
  • Ability to handle a case load of 25-35 loans of all loan types with minimal assistance.
  • Support the Credit Union vision to drive member growth & engagement by cross-selling the CU’s full suite of financial products to help our members.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  • Work with other departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  • Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union and with our clients.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Flexible to work extended hours during heavy workload periods.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Must be bilingual.
  • Must be able to be bonded.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • This position requires at least two years Processing experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
